Man excited to find his 30 year old mac computer still works. Consider how often you find yourself forgetting something important. You might forget the name of someone from your past, a word you want to use, or the date of your best friend's birthday. Finding the things you used as a kid can be a dun trip down memory lane, but i can only imagine how crazy it would be to find a 35 year old computer that sill works. Last Saturday night, Professor John tweeted that ha had a functional Apple computer from his parents' attic.

An Apple IIe. Sat in my parents’ attic for years. Decades.

And it works.

Put in an old game disk. Asks if I want to restore a saved game.

And finds one!

It must be 30 years old.

My dad typed up labels for all my floppies, which is really sweet to remember.

NICE!!! I’ve got an old Apple IIc in the basement boxed up with an old ribbon printer. Oregon Trail. The Print Shop. Carmen Sandiego. My kids have no idea where technology has come from to get to where it is now. Raise your hand, if you’re all about the floppy 5.25” disks! 🙋‍♂️
